Paul Tucker sleeps better these days.

Tucker, Engineering and Operations Manager at Tri-County Electric in Hooker, Oklahoma was concerned about the reliability of his substation voltage regulators. Serving a large, sparsely populated geographic area like the Oklahoma panhandle made manual checks, maintenance and service calls expensive. He needed an affordable solution to stabilize his maintenance costs, and standardize his substation voltage regulator control protocols to interface with his SCADA system.

Tucker found his solution, and a better night's sleep with Solomon Corporation. Solomon Corporation put together a voltage regulator maintenance program that included upgrades to ICMI (UVR-1) control panels.

Routine maintenance improves the reliability and extends the life of the regulators. And the upgraded ICMI UVR-1 control panels in conjunction with the SCADA system allow remote monitoring and control of the system.

"With Solomon's voltage regulator maintenance program and ICMI's control panel upgrades we have accomplished our company's goals. and I sleep better at night," Tucker says.
