The global restructuring of energy systems requires investments running into the billions. One key to limiting investments and operating costs is the automation and digitalization of the grid infrastructure. Well-mastered technologies enable intelligent use concepts which allow the existing infrastructure to be loaded even further and, at the same time, to be operated for longer – with lower costs and with higher levels of operational reliability.
